Beginner A0/A1.1 – No prerequisites
Advanced Beginner A1.2/A2.1 – Present tense basics
Intermediate A2.2/B1 – Basics of past & future tenses

We help you choose the right level.

Novice Beginner – White Belt
Prerequisites: None. For those who have never studied Spanish or have forgotten it.
Objective: Understand and use simple expressions, introduce yourself, ask very basic questions.
Experienced Beginner – Yellow Belt
Prerequisites: Knowledge of the present tense and basic vocabulary (e.g., “I want,” “I’m going to eat,” “we are studying”).
Objective: Handle simple situations, understand short isolated sentences, and interact using common everyday expressions.
Upper Beginner – Orange Belt
Prerequisites: Understanding of basic tenses: present, past, future (e.g., “I spoke,” “I was speaking”). Good comprehension at a slow pace.
Objective: Participate in conversations on familiar topics, express opinions, understand the main ideas of clear speech.
Progressing Intermediate or Higher – Green Belt / Blue Belt
You can make yourself understood in a variety of situations, use past and future tenses comfortably, and understand well at a slow to moderate pace. You can improvise, articulate your ideas, and express emotions. You use the conditional mood and more complex structures with solid vocabulary.
